    Arty Party: Imagine Your World

    Families take over the Henry at this year’s fifth annual Arty Party! We’re filling up all corners of the museum with play, wonder, and creativity. Artists, performers, and youth will lead activities that explore how we see and contribute to the world around us. 
    • Experiment with new ideas and materials in activities led by exhibiting artist Dawn Cerny, The Makery, and Kids and Race 
    • Travel the globe with a special screening of the Best of Children’s Film Festival Seattle: Shine On! Presented in partnership with Northwest Film Forum
    • Move your mind and body with a special performance by the Splinter Dance Company 
    • Learn about local organizations that are using art to raise awareness and empower families and youth in Seattle 
    1 PM-3:30 PM Ongoing Activities: 
    •  A Scavenger Hunt starring your friends from Kids and Race
    • The Makery’s Make and Take
    • Form Play with Dawn Cerny and Colleen Brown
    • Community Partner Tables
    1:30-2:30 PM
    Shine On! The Best Animated Films from Children’s Film Festival Seattle 2017
    3:30-4 PM
    The Big Finale: Performance with the Splinter Dance Company
