If you are interested in partnering with the Henry on a program for your classroom or onsite, email contact-programs@henryart.org to inquire. Please note the Henry does not rent space or host private events. If you are looking for a venue on campus or in the Seattle area, please review this list of possibilities provided by the University of Washington.
We continue to grow our collection with extraordinary works of art gifted by our generous donors. We currently have a moratorium on acquisitions and loans, effective through May 2024. This brief pause allows staff to implement vital storage upgrades and assess the Henry’s storage needs for future collection activities. We invite you to contact us in 2024 or to check this page for updates.
The Henry’s exhibition program is planned two years or more in advance, and most exhibitions are the result of proposals generated by our in-house curatorial team or collaborations with other institutions. The majority of exhibitions and commissions arise from direct invitations to artists and curators with the express goal of creating a varied artistic program for our audiences. Therefore we can only rarely accommodate unsolicited projects. While we may review your work, doing so does not constitute a promise to exhibit your work. We cannot respond to each inquiry nor will we return unsolicited materials.
