Maximum Fun: A New Sincerity Event

Maximum Fun is part picnic, part aerobics class, and part community-building event featuring works by Nat Evans, Mario Lemafa, and Elizabeth Spavento. Join us at the UW's Sylvan Theater to traverse mental obstacle courses, jump over things, and shout in unison. Playing off Jesse Thorn's Manifesto for the New Sincerity, Maximum Fun seeks to probe the relationship between sincerity and irony through a series of interactive activities inspired by the legendary Evel Knievel.
We invite you to bring the whole family, comfortable seating, and food and drink to enjoy and share (FYI, alcoholic beverages are not permitted on campus).
Capes and helmets are optional—and encouraged!
