ArtVenture: Portrait Party with Grey Ellis and Pamela Santiago
Held the second Sunday of each month, ArtVentures encourage families to play, learn, and create together.
What qualities do you love about your friends and families? How do you capture things that can’t be seen with human eyes? Learn about how Chuck Close captured the tiniest details of his friends’ faces to create larger-than life portraits—and then create a portrait of your favorite person without showing their face!
Grey Ellis is a multimedia and performance artist in Seattle. They work in the collectives QTYMP and TUF organizing creative spaces to approach education and arts.
Pamela Santiago is a musician, visual artist, and performance artist in Seattle. She works at the Old Fire House Teen Center and loves to play, create, and imagine.
