ArtVenture: Identity Rainbows with Grey Ellis and Pamela Santiago
Held the second Sunday of each month, ArtVentures encourage families to play, learn, and create together.
How do you express who you are? Think about all the ways that one can experience identity in this family-friendly workshop with artists Grey Ellis and Pamela Santiago. This workshop will explore an inclusive view of gender diversity as we take a trip inside the Henry to visit MOTHA, the Museum of Transgender Hirstory & Art. We will use drawing, play, and games to explore creative ways to show the world how our differences make us each unique and beautiful.
Grey Ellis is a multimedia and performance artist in Seattle. They work in the collectives QTYMP and TUF organizing creative spaces to approach education and arts.
Pamela Santiago is a musician, visual artist, and performance artist in Seattle. She works at the Old Fire House Teen Center and loves to play, create, and imagine!
