Writing Workshop: Precarios

Presented in partnership with Hugo House.

Inspired by the work of interdisciplinary artist and poet Cecilia Vicuña, this writing workshop will be held among the Precarios within the exhibition Cecilia Vicuña: About to Happen. Through reading and discussion, we will consider the power of naming what has been lost or discarded, and of holding the energy of both elegy and renewal simultaneously. Participants are encouraged to bring one poem, paragraph, or idea that has been previously discounted in their personal archives for this (re)generative writing session. Readings will be focused on poetry but experimental writers of all genres will be at home in this workshop.
