Re/frame: Pop Up Edition (noon session)

This month the Henry Art Gallery is partnering with the Goethe Institut Pop Up to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the highly influential and versatile artist Joseph Beuys (Germany, 1921-1986). Beuys believed strongly that everyone is an artist, and that art has the power to bring about social and political change. Join us as we discuss works in the Henry’s collection by Beuys, as well as a variety of artists who were influenced by him.
Re/frame is a recurring program that delves into the Henry's extensive collection, highlighting a different group of objects each month. Join us for group discussions and the opportunity to see art rarely on public view.
