Artist Diana Al-Hadid, whose exhibition Archive of Longings is on display at the Henry, has selected a group of works from the Henry’s permanent collection that resonate with her own artistic practice. Al-Hadid’s work explores the interplay between the female body and the European art canon; Syrian, Muslim, and immigrant histories and mythologies; and architectural icons and the natural world. Please join Associate Curator of Collections Dr. Ann Poulson to discuss this exciting group of works!
Re/frame is a recurring program that delves into the Henry's extensive collection, highlighting a different group of objects each month. Join us for group discussions and the opportunity to see art rarely on public view.
Henry Art Gallery is accessible to all visitors. Please notify the staff of any special needs or concerns when planning to attend this event.
