Perfume Workshop with the Institute for Art and Olfaction
Scent is a powerful conduit for memory and communication. In this workshop. Saskia Wilson-Brown, founder of the Institute for Art and Olfaction, will discuss the profound influence of scent and will give a perfume making workshop on how to blend natural and synthetic aromamolecules. Participants will take home samples of their creations.
A producer and curator for visual art and film, Wilson-Brown launched the Los Angeles-based Institute for Art and Olfaction in 2012 to advance public and artistic engagement with scent. Born to Cuban and English parents, raised between San Francisco and Paris, Wilson-Brown received her BA from UC Berkeley and her MA from Central Saint Martins in London.
