Clare Halpine is an artist, writer and filmmaker. Born 1987 in Toronto, Canada, she received her BFA from Mount Allison University in 2005 and her MFA in Photomedia from the University of Washington in 2017. Her work employs humor and performance as a strategy of subversion. Her work has recently been exhibited in Seattle at the Jacob Lawrence Gallery, Meany Hall for the Performing Arts, King Street Station, WeWork Holyoke, and at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York City.
