First Look: Spirit House & Charlene Liu

Celebrate two new bold art experiences at the Henry—with music, drinks, and summer vibes!
Be among the first to experience Spirit House, featuring 33 Asian American and Asian diasporic artists whose powerful works engage memory, ancestry, and relationships between the realms of the living and the dead.
Then, step outside to the Sculpture Court and take in Charlene Liu’s stunning new mural —a fluid, multi-layered work that blends food, nature, and family memory, reflecting on how culinary traditions root us in identity and belonging.
Enjoy a curated feel-good playlist, ping pong, and complimentary drinks under the evening sky. We’re staying open late—until 8 PM—so take your time with the art, meet fellow art lovers, and soak in the atmosphere.
