    Curator Talk: Sylvia Wolf

Join our curators as they share their perspectives and expand upon core ideas in our most recently opened exhibitions.

Sylvia Wolf, John S. Behnke Director of the Henry, discusses the first survey of Chuck Close’s work in photography. Wolf spent 20 years as a curator of photography before joining the Henry as its Director in 2008, first at the Art Institute of Chicago, and then at the Whitney Museum of American Art, where she first met Chuck Close. She will provide an overview of the artist’s career-long engagement with photography, sharing aspects of his process and anecdotes that bring photography and Close’s engagement with the medium to life.
