    Arty Party

    LOOK * LISTEN * EXPLORE * LAUGH

    Spend the afternoon at the Henry for our annual Arty Party! Go on mini gallery explorations, create with artists, dance to tunes by KEXP DJ Larry Rose, and enjoy time with friends and family.
    • Join teaching artist Nicole Appell to explore and collect images from the common S E N S E and design an art book that reflects the uniqueness of your family
    • Create superheroes from Native American symbols with artist Jeffrey Veregge
    • Listen to Lower Elwha Klallam tribe member Roger Fernandes tell stories that bring the galleries to life
    • Create a giant musical score and play it in the galleries with teaching artist Rebecca Joy Mohrlang from the Seattle Symphony
    • Take an ArtBreak with Dylan High, Museum Educator from the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture
    • Enjoy the Best of the Fest from the Children's Film Festival Seattle 2015
      • This program features a mind-blowing mix of animation techniques, whimsical characters, and stories that are inspiring and magical
    • And a special appearance by Dubs, our UW mascot, from 3-4pm!
