Held the second Sunday of each month, ArtVentures encourage families to play, learn, and create together. Each month, we experiment with new ways to think about the world through materials, actions, and collaborations. We take visits into the galleries, make messes in our studio, and meet creative people!
Learn how to see through someone else’s eyes and re-imagine your community. Guest artist Carina A. del Rosario will help us explore how to make new connections with neighbors as we snap photos of each other and use techniques inspired by artist Chuck Close. With our new friends, we’ll reassemble the results into a giant collaged portrait.
Carina A. del Rosario is an artist who uses photography. Her work has been featured in museums, galleries and public installations. A teaching artist, she encourages people to explore their interests and communities, and helps them experiment with various media and techniques to express themselves.
