    ArtVenture: Spinning Timelines

Take a spin through your family’s history and create a collage of traditions, stories, and important moments. Families will work together to create a circular work of art reflecting the ways our past can be present today. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to bring photos and memorabilia from home to incorporate.

ArtVentures encourage families to think about art in new ways. Each month we take a big idea and explore it through playful and experimental activities. Drop-in anytime between 1–3 p.m.!
    CREDITS

2017-2018 ArtVentures are co-designed and facilitated by artist Mita Mahato and Michelle Hagewood, associate curator of public and youth programs, and Melinda D. Rukavina, program assistant for public and youth programs. This year’s workshops are sponsored by Microsoft.
