    Henry Art Gallery
    Thursday, February 26, 2015, 12:30 PM — 1:00 PM

    María Elena García

ArtBreaks are facilitated gallery experiences led by a variety of guest artists, scholars, and community members.
Join María Elena García, associate professor in the Comparative History of Ideas and the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington, whose work explores indigeneity and interspecies politics in the Andes.
Participants are invited to consider the common S E N S E through the frames of life and death, the politics of sight, and through an explicit search for “the animal.”
