    ArtBreak: Francis Halsall

Visiting scholar Francis Halsall leads a discussion on Franz Erhard Walther: The Body Draws, using the exhibition as a starting point to examine the relationship between the body and thought. Participants are invited to consider how drawing is a process that involves looking and thinking about the world, and discuss how Walter's work is not only a form of drawing but also a way of giving ideas form.
Francis Halsall is an art historian who uses ideas of " systems" to work on the history and theory of modern and contemporary art. He is course director of MA Art in the Contemporary World at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin, Ireland.
