Volunteering

We are not accepting new volunteer applications at this time. The Henry needs volunteers on occasion to assist during events and exhibition openings. Henry volunteers get free admission to these events and the opportunity to meet people in the field—and earn our everlasting gratitude.

Internships & Work Study

The Henry is a teaching museum. We're all about research, innovation, and new ideas. Student positions are an integral part of our team.

We offer two internships for students in the UW School of Art + Art History + Design in both our graphic design and curatorial departments: one for an undergrad in Design and one for a grad student in Curatorial Practice.

School students may contact the Advising Office to express interest.

If you are interested in and qualify for a work-study position, we hire in the summer for the upcoming academic year. Please refer to the UW Work-Study page for available positions.
