Henry Teen Zine Call for Submissions

Are you an artist between the ages of 13 and 19?  Do you have a unique perspective of the world we live in or need a platform to make your voice heard?
Barriers Between Us is this year’s theme for the Henry Teen Art Collective’s zine, and we want you to submit photos, drawings, poems, and whatever else can be printed!
Selected artists will receive a copy of the zine and special recognition at our launch event on Saturday, June 3rd.
(What’s a zine? Short for magazine, a “zine” is an independent, usually self-published book that can take many forms.)

Deadline for submissions is April 6, 2017.
    Guidelines:
    • Images must be submitted as JPGs or PDFs and be at least 300 DPI.
    • Images will be printed in color, no larger than 8.5”x 11” (portrait orientation)
    • Not all entries will be accepted
    • Send digital images (photographs, scans, computer generated) only. Physical artworks cannot be accepted or returned.
Email images to henryteencollective@gmail.com and please include:
    • Full name, grade, school, zip code, and email or phone
    • Title of artwork, medium, and original dimensions
Submissions must meet all the above criteria to be considered. By submitting your work (art, writing, anything else) to us, you are giving the Henry Teen Art Collective permission to publish your work in our zine (both print and digital) and through social media.
