Special Needs and Accessibility
The museum is accessible to all visitors. Please notify the staff of any special needs or concerns when scheduling a tour.
Parking/Bus
Parking for cars is occasionally available in the underground Visitor’s Parking Garage. The entrance is just north of the museum.
Cars with three or more passengers receive reduced rates. School and tour buses must enter the campus at NE 45th and 17th Ave NE and park near the Henry. The museum may also be reached by numerous Metro and Community Transit bus lines.

Photography in the Museum
Still photography is allowed at the Henry Art Gallery only when images are being made for personal, non-commercial use.
In certain instances, the Henry Art Gallery will post “No Photography” notices. These
notices will be posted in galleries exhibiting works on loan to the museum. Loaned
works are often subject to contractual restrictions that prohibit photography; the Henry
Art Gallery must honor contracts with lenders. Visitors will be asked to observe these
restrictions.
Where permitted, the use of cameras in the Henry Art Gallery exhibition spaces is subject
to the following conditions:
• Flash photography is not allowed
• Tripods may not be used
• Video cameras may not be used without prior permission
Exceptions for special photography requiring use of lighting, tripods, or video cameras
may be allowed if a request is made in advance and the requestor’s Permission
Agreement for Photography form is approved by authorized Henry staff.

Bus Accessibility
We recommend that wheelchair visitors arriving by bus use the 41Street stop just North of the museum and head downhill (South) to the ramp next to the Central Parking Garage entrance.

Wheelchair visitor parking is available in the underground Central Parking garage with elevator access to the public plaza at the Henry’s main entrance. Admission Policy
The Henry is accessible to all students. Free admission for students from kindergarten through university encourages exploration individually, with a family, or in a group. In addition, University of Washington faculty and staff and Henry Gallery members are admitted free. High school and college students are requested to present student identification. There are fees for tours, curriculum guides and other resources as noted.
