Donation of Art to the Henry Art Gallery

The Henry Art Gallery collection grows primarily through gifts. Offered donations are reviewed by staff members and an advisory committee to assess how well they relate to the museum’s mission. Condition, relation to objects already in the collection, costs for care, feasibility of storage, and relevance to our collecting goals all influence decisions regarding the works we accept. To help us evaluate your offered gift, please send an e-mail or letter with information about the object(s). Please include the origin, maker, title or name, date, medium, dimensions, and a brief description. Attach digital images with details of signatures or marks.

We are grateful to donors for the contribution of works to our collection. Donations are tax deductible. Appraisals are the responsibility of the donor.
